A certified copy of an entry of marriage was obtained from the General Records Office in England states that on February 13, 1853 a mariage solemized at Trinity Church in the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex occurred between John William McLintock (with an extra C crossed out) age 21 to a Mary Ann Friskin age 21. At the time of their marriage they lived on John Street. This record indicates that William McLintock (extra C crossed out) was the father of John William McLintock. William's profession was listed as a Manchester Warehouseman.
