She was born Abt. 1807 in Va., and died 1859 in WV.. He married (2) SARAH CLEAVENGER Abt. 1848. He married (3) MARTHA ANN FRANCES JENKINS Abt. 1860.

Notes for JAMES D. STANLEY:
According to the 1850 ritchie co.,census James son Joseph W. Stanley wasn't included with his family. He was a laborer at a John Web farm and was included in that family at the age 16. Therefore we can't be certain without the right facts that James/Mary Stanley is the right set of parents. However, through the research there is a great possibility that James would be Joseph's father. Another thought was James might have remarried and that would make Joseph a half sibling to Phoebe and William Stanley. Some of the older relatives have said there was a grandpap Jimmy and that Phoebe and William were half siblings to Joseph Stanley. So I believe James Stanley is the father but not quite sure of who his mother is. I 've got him listed with James/Mary (Wilson) Stanley because this is the most likely family to fit. Also the History Of Ritchie Co., Book states a Grandson to Thomas Stanley was a Joseph Stanley that lived and died in Petroleum,WV. Joseph W. Stanley did live and die in Petroleum,WV. So we all seem to fit together.
