I am researching McLaughlin's from Brooklyn, NY & Ireland. GGrandfather:William was born in Canada 4/1854 moved to Chicago ?? Married Mary Sullivan and had two children William J. b:4/13/1879 and Anna b 4/1877. Lived in Chicago,Ill---1870 era. Area of GREAT CHICAGO FIRE 1871 Grandfather:William J. b: 1879 d:10/16/1952 St.Pete,Fla. William J moved to NYC around 1900. Married Alice Carroll.Had 2 Children : Anna 1907 & Gordon 1909, both Born NYC. Alice died around 1909-10 in NYC giving birth to Gordon, children were put in HOME Sacred Heart Church, NYC until father remarried Christine Lutz some 20 yrs younger than him. William J worked for Interboro Rapit Transit System--1902-1944 when he retired and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida where he died 10\16\1952 He lived in Bronx,NY -Queens,NY - New York City---1900-1945 ----------------------------------------------------------------- Researching Schuchman's--Germany---Brooklyn,NY---Queens, NY Johannes Schuchman,Babette Beck,married 5/28/1860 at 64 Pitt St. NYC OTHER WIVES: Elizabeth Deltau Brothers:Daniel-Philipp-Peter ( age b1827-1837 ) Patrica Schuchman,B 6/11/1874-D 1/28/1937 Barbara Schuchman--era 1871 Peter Schuchman B 7/14/1866-D 3/29/1921 worked for Brooklyn Police Dept.
