My McLean line origins, as far back as I know, originated on the Isle of Skye. John McLean, b. Mar 2, 1692, came to Robeson County, NC with his son Daniel, b. 1736 on Skye, and grandson John, b. Nov 12, 1766 on Skye. This grandson lived to be a ruling elder in the Centre Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. |
