I'am researching The McMahon Family in Knox County, Ohio. The Earliest of my Ancestor's documented in this area are Joseph and Susannah (?) McMahon. Joseph may have been born 1785 - 1787, in Dumfries, Prince William County, Virginia, to Roger and Mary Ann Radcliff McMahon. Susannah was born ca., 1780, in Pennsylvania or Maryland. They were the parents of three sons: Thomas, born ca., 1798 in Virginia or Maryland, John, born ca., 1807 in Virginia or Maryland, and Andrew, born ca., 1810 in Virginia, Maryland, or Ohio. I'am interested in the Carson Family of Washington County or Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and the Purcell Family of Lockport, N.Y., or Canada.
