Trying to Find where Nicolas Mc Mahon came from in Ireland. He came to America in 1848 with his brother John, His sister Bridgit, and maybe his mother Mary. They first went to Easton, NY and worked on the Francis Whelden Farm. Easton, NY is in Washington County. Nicholas' sister Mary came to America in 1853 and was married to Patrick Mc Cabe. She was married in Ireland and had a son, James, born on ship. John, Nicholas, And Mary all eventually lived in Cossayuna, NY, where John and Nicholas owned farms. Bridgit married James O' Donnell in America and lived on a farm in Jackson, NY. (Washington County). I am looking for the descendents of John, Mary Mc Cabe, Or Bridgit O' Donnell to see if they know where the Mc Mahon's came from in Ireland |
