The grave of Harrison Hamer (1839-1924) and his wife Perneety Frances McCuistion (1853-1919). Harrison was the son of James and Sophia (Wood) Hamer. He was in the home guard in Indiana during the Civil War, but later went to Missouri and joined the Confederate forces. His family followed him later to Missouri. He is buried in Barton County Missouri. There is another Harrison Hamer, Henry Harrison Hamer, son of Thomas L. Hamer and Hannah Fitzpatrick. He is buried in an unknown location in Idaho where he died around 1907.
