Hannah Fitzpatrick Hamer died in Mitchell, Indiana, in 1892. She is buried in the Hamer Cemetery in Spring Mill State Park, next to her husband, Thomas L. Hamer. The stone was made by her son in law, Elijah Evans, the husband of Angeline Hamer Evans. They have three children buried to the far left of Hannah, Bradford, Iva Nora, and Ida May. To Hannah's right is buried her daughter in law, Ann Dalton Hamer McNamara, married first to Hugh Hamer, Jr.
