Dr. Jacob Lemon was physician in Spring Mill Village. He was father of Mary Ellen Lemon who married Henry Thomas Hamer. His grandson, Dr William Francis Hamer, became a physician and practiced first in Indiana, then in Ottawa, Kansas, where he died.
