Dr Jacob M. Lemon was the father of Mary Ellen Lemon who married Hugh Hamer's oldest son, Henry Thomas Hamer. He was the village doctor during the heyday of Spring Mill Village. His wife was Mary Ann Hammersley from Ohio. His grandson became a doctor also. His name was Dr Wm Francis Hamer, son of Henry Thomas and Mary Ellen (Lemon) Hamer.
