George V. Hamer was the grandson of both Hugh Hamer and Dr. Jacob Lemon, the son of Henry Thomas & Mary E. Lemon Hamer. He married Laura Josephine Tannehill and they had two daughters, Carrie Dolly and Pearl. Laura remarried after George's death to a John Miller and moved to Kansas then to Los Angeles, California. She attended many reunions until her death in 1944.
