Currently searching for info on a John Carmel McMahon in New York state pre civil war. Iknow he served in the 12th Reg. Co"B" Infantry of the NY State Militia Volunteers, but have no info on his place of birth or anything else before that period. He was born in New York State; his father was from Ireland and mother from England and his dob is abt 12/20/1845 according to Fl census records.
I am currently researching, or have info on the following surnames: McMahon, Prather, Clement, Demerrett, Curry, Weatherford, Moreno, Philippe, Bicaise, Grillon, Gandolfo, Curtis, Blazevic.
