| I am researching my family. My father's name was Reginald A. Croft & he was born in Ninfield, Sussex, England in 1908. His father was Archibald Ditch Croft and his mother was Rosina Baker Foster. My dad's grandfather was James Croft who was married to Julia Ditch. All of the above relatives came from Sussex England. My mother's maiden name was Mabel Palmer. Her father was William Palmer, and her mother was Elizabeth Childs. They were married in Trenton Ontario in 1904 and my mom was one of 9 children born to them. William Palmer's father was Joseph Palmer and his mother was Mary Harper. They both were born in England, but at the present time I have no idea where they hailed from. I do know that Joseph Palmer married Mary Harper in Whitby Ontario, Canada in 1843. They had 9 children, I believe. |
