Notes for Elizabeth Burr: Computer printout sent to me by Ruth Mcmurdo 24 Apr 1991 Jehu Burr came to America in the Winthrop Fleet, 1630, settled in Roxbury, MA and was made freeman 18, May 1631. In 1633 he served on a comm. with William Pynchon, the colony treasurer; in 1636 went with Pynchon to Springfield where he was appointed Collector by the Conn. colony. He moved to Fairfield soon after 1641. May have married more than once. Through this connection we are related to Aaron Burr. Jehu Burr's son Jehu Burr, Jr was Aaron Burr's great Grandfather.
