* The Henry Allen McNabb Family Home Page*

Updated September 5, 2000

I am a great-grandson of Henry Allen McNabb, and have been researching our family tree. Many thanks to the work of my 1st cousin once removed Mary Agnes Klock for the extensive work she has done in providing our family with a comprehensive family tree showing his descendants. With the help of Broderbund's World Family Tree, I was able to find, to date, three other tree's that merge with our own. My journey through our history has been most successful on Henry's wife's, Alva Elisabeth Crouell, side of the family. I have found our roots back to Nicolaus Fulman, of Germany, born in 1655. His grand-daughter, Sybilla Elisabeth Fulman married Johan Michael Crowell, born in 1705.Also through the Crowell's, I found that one of their descendants, and a distant relative of myself, Ruth Williams, married a descendant of William Brewster. He was the pastor of the church that was exiled from England in Holland (though he himself stayed in England), that chartered the Mayflower, and came to America, in Plymouth, MA.I have, however, been less successful with Henry's side, and sadly have but an incomplete ancestor tree. Henry Allen McNabb was born May 28, 1878 in Scotland, Arkansas. He died May 12, 1969. He was the son of William Elijah McNabb (1850-1910) and Martha Adelne Emerson Bishop (1857-1883). and grand-son of Lorenzo George Washington McNabb (1823-1848) and Elizabeth Emmaline Axley (1832-1848).Any information about the Crowell's or the McNabb's is greatly appreciated. Other family members are researching our Cherokee indian heritage. I would be more than happy to share information as well. To date, my family database is up to 2800 people!!
