HUDSON - earliest known is Eleazer born 9 Feb 1776 in New York. He died in Goshen, Orange Co. NY; descendants moved to Pennsylvania, Minnesota & North Dakota. *Oscar (1801-1879) was employed by the Delaware & Hudson Canal Co. & was associated with those who brought the first locomotive from England to America about 1826. *Hiram T. (1840-1923) was Superintendent of the Gravity Railroad at Waymart, PA. *Clarence Niles (1883-1928) worked at Scranton Lace Company. Click on photo section & report section following for descendants. MCNAMARA - earliest known is James born 1820s in Co. Clare, Ireland; the family lived in Bealkelly. Descendants lived in New York & San Francisco, CA. SWINGLE - earliest known is Johann 'Hans' Ulrich born 15 May 1732 in Hulben, Wurttemberg, Germany; came to America about 1751. He lived in Montgomery, Orange Co. NY; died 1809 in Canaan Township, Wayne Co. PA. http://www.olden-times.com/swingle/ SCHWENCKEL - earliest known is Kaspar born abt. 1617 in Jena, Thuringia, Germany; died in Germany. Name changed to SWINGLE when descendant Hans came to America. BUCKLAND - earliest known is William born abt 1606, Weymouth, Dorset, England. His gg grandson George W. born 25 Sept. 1757 in CT served in the Rev. War & married Elizabeth LATHROP, a direct descendant of Mayflower Pilgrims, John & Elizabeth (TILLEY) HOWLAND and John & Joan (HURST) TILLEY. Descendants moved to Clinton Township, Wayne Co. PA. *Horace married *Betsey A. TENNANT & was Wayne Co. PA Coroner in 1849, Constable in 1869 & Auditor in 1871. Daughter *Angeline married Hiram T. HUDSON, above. He died 1837 in So. Canaan, Wayne Co. PA. SHAFFER - earliest known is John born about 1745 in Germany. He died in Varden, Wayne Co. PA. JESSUP - earliest known is Sylvanus born 14 Feb 1779 Long Island, New York. He was a founding father of Carbondale, Lackawanna Co. PA & died about 1860 in Honesdale, Wayne Co. PA. ROBINSON - earliest known is James G. born abt. 1806 in NY. He served in the Civil War & died in 1883 So. Canaan, Wayne Co. PA. FRIEDMAN(N) - earliest known is Michl/Michael born 18 March 1649 in Baden, Germany. Descendants settled in Malvern, Carroll Co. OH. LEACH - earliest known is James born 3 June 1796 near Loch Foil, Scotland. He lived in Hope Township, Ontario, Canada; Creston, Ogle Co. IL; died 1896 in Chicago, Cook Co. IL. His 8 sons & 1 daughter lived in IL, KS, IA & CO. REYLING/REILING - earliest known is Marcus Lorenz/Lawrence born 1807 in Ersingen, Baden, Germany. He traveled from Havre, France & arrived in New Orleans in November 1830. He settled in Carroll Co.
