Just starting to look into family history. Ancestry stems from a Duncan Mcpherson who immigrated from Scotland to Mariposa, ON during the mid 1800s. He married Mary Margaret Johnston. We are descendants of Claude Allister McPherson who was probably the son of one of Duncan and Margaret's daughters and adopted by them in 1891.
