Albert J. Tennant (son of John Tennant and Melinda Cain) was born October 24, 1862 in Rear of Leeds & Landsdowne, Leeds County, Ontario, and died December 23, 1899 in Parry Sound, Ontario. He married (1) Sarah Maxwell in Leeds County, Ontario. He married (2) Mary Elizebeth Wright on 1900 in Landsdowne Twshp, daughter of John Wright and Maranda.

Notes for Albert J. Tennant:
When Sarah died in 1893 his mother, Melinda, a widow was living in Carling and assisted in raising the 3 small children.
His brother Cornelius passed away in 1889.
Abert, a widower; and Mary Elizebeth a widow, married in 1896 March 2.
