I am researching ancestors for both my own and my husband's families.
I am searching for the following surnames: Selensky, Kowis, Wolff, Dettling, Gress (or Kress), all of which are German. Most if not all of these ancestors immigrated to Russia, then on to the US. All were farmers and those related to me ended up in Texas. I am also searching for any information on Peter Golla, who was born 24 Oct 1872 in Poland and immigrated with his father John Golla, and mother Rosie Michalski (sp?) and ended up in St. Hedwig, Texas (outside San Antonio). I am also searching for information about Peter's wife, Philomena Dylla, born 16 Jun 1876 or 1877 in Poland and immigrated with her parents, Frank Dylla and Mary Pawlick, from Poland to St. Hedwig, Texas.

For my husband's family, I am searching for information on the following people: John (Johann) Kimmerly, born Reitlingen, Germany 25 Feb 1850 (German), and Mary Whaley (Irish), whom he wed around 1872 shortly after both arrived on the same ship from overseas. Also, Peter McSeveney and Jeannie Maguire, who wed in Scotland and had several children before immigrating in 1929 to New York. I know Peter was born in Ireland and Jeannie in Scotland. Also searching for any information on Lillie Green of New Jersey, whose father was John Green. I have no dates for her or her father, but I know her first some was born 15 Feb 1895. I am also searching for any information about her first husband, James A. Kubick, born 13 Feb, 1873 in Newark, NJ and served in the Spanish-American War. I know his father's name was Charles Kubick and his mother's name was Annie McNamee.

I welcome all inquiries and will certainly share any information that I have.
