Raymond Paul Mc Shane of Dublin, Ireland
Updated May 16, 2007Just started out after a 10 year gap! Originally coming from the North ( Lower Fathom, Newry, County Down ) coming down south at the end of the 19th Century to Dublin. The McShanes of Dublin had a theatrical backround at the turn of the century. They lived over the Abbey Theatre in Pearse Street. One Relative, a Kitty Mc Shane, was one half of the film duo Old Mother Riley and her daughter Kitty. I am interested in the pre dublin time of course, any Newry roots would be appreciated. |
