| I am interested in informationon the Ridenbaugh family of St.Joseph,Missouri and their allied families.William F. Ridenbaugh was born in Bedford Co,West Providence Twp, Penn. on Feb.19,1821 he came to Liberty,Mo.in 1843, and settled in St.Joseph,Mo. in 1845 where he started The Weekly Gazette. He married Hannah Creal daughter of H.S.Creal,Esq. of Weahena,Kansas. The had seven children: Vernon Ridenbaugh b.Oct.31,1848 St.Joe.Mo. d.Feb 11, 1887.Mary Florence Ridenbaugh B. Feb.02,1850.St.Joe.Mo. d.June 24,1931. William Henry Ridenbaugh b. April 17,1856,St.Joe.Mo. d.August 24,1922. Annie Creal Ridenbaugh b. Apr.17,1858,St.Joe. Mo.d.? Nellie Belle Ridenbaugh b.Jul 5,1862,St.Joe.Mo. d.Feb 12 1893. John Frederic Ridenbaugh b.? St.Joe.Mo.d. Jun 15,1915 After Hannah Ridenbaugh died in Aug,17.1866,Mr. Ridenbaugh wed Mary Baker, who gave him George Young Ridenbaugh b.?St.Joe,Mo. d.? William Ridenbaugh October 18,1874,St.Joseph Mo. In the 1860 census for Buchanan Co.Missouri there are two Ridenbaugh families listed, Wm.Ridenbaugh,and family # 355, and (?) Ridenbaugh age 28,(?) Ridenbaugh age 22 female from Ky., would like to know if they are related to each other? I would like to know more about Wm. Ridenbaugh's parents. Would also like to hear from other Ridenbaughs. |
