The Home Page of Blanche Amelia Mead

Most of the information that is included on this page is from a book by Spencer P. Mead published in 1901 "History and Genealogy of the Mead Family" and also from a 12 page manuscript, which was typewritten, and was possibly written prior to the large book, which contains 455 pages. There are now over 10,600 names in the main database. There are, not included on this page, census indexes from the Newark and Jersey City area of New Jersey available on request for the years 1880 and 1900.
As of September 03, 2001 I re-installed the "InterneTree" which includes all the names in the file. It is a very large file so to use it you must have patience and follow the instructions to use the file.

Also as of September 03, 2001 I have updated the "Kinship Report of Thomas Meade" born abt 1450 in Somersetshire, England. This is a report that you can have a lot of fun with.

I married into the Mead Family and started this adventure about 9 years ago, not knowing what I was getting into, but it has been interesting to say the least.
