I have been researching the Tackett family in the Greenup County Kentucky.My results have linked several surnames: Barber, Bellomy, Bentley, Blankenship, Broome, Buester, Castle, Clark, Cook, Foster, Fultz, Gass, Goad, Gore, Guilkey, Hartwell, Horsley, Jackson, Justice, Keaton, Laine, Lewis, McGowan, Meade, Meadows, Melvin, Pennington, Simpkins, Smith, Sumpter, Tackett, Tate, Triplet, Ward, Welch, Williams, and Woods to name a few.
The names that I am most interested in at this point are:Bellomy, Bentley, Blankenship, Broome, Castle, Clark, Gore,Horsley, Jackson, Justice, Keaton, Laine, McGowan, Meadows, Pennington, Simpkins, Tate, Triplet, Ward, Welch, and Williams.The other names I have researched beyond the 1800's.
