I am researching the MEADOWS, WILLIAMS, FERGUSON, BALDWIN, JOHNSON, CARWILE, WILKERSON, Worley and other related family names. These families lived in the Central Virginia area during the 1700's and 1800's. I am more than willing to share the information that I have collected over the last twenty years. I need information on Moses Ferguson born in Virginia in 1750. I also need information on Edward Williams living in Amelia Co. in the early 1700's. I am looking for information on "Old" Joel Meadows that lived in Amelia Co. in the early 1700's. If anyone has information that could help me, I would appreciate an e-mail and I am more than willing to share with you.I have been doing genealogy for about 15 years and have large collections of information on the names listed above. I also have information on the CARWILES and JENNINGS and PRICES of VA.
I have information back to the original Meadors of eastern VA in 1630's, but I need to connect my "Old Joel" to them. I also have information back to Moses Ferguson who was born in VA in 1750. Thomas Baldwin is where I am stuck on the BALDWIN FAMILY.
I have very little information on the Johnson family except that the Johnsons were in Prince Edward Co. VA in the mid to late 1800's. My ancestor's name was Rosa Johnson who married a Meadows.
I have given only the first 4 generations of each of the families. I have many more generations, but space is limited. E-mail me if you would like more or would like to ask a question.

Williams, Jr. She was Daniel Berle Williams's grandmother. This picture used to hang in the Covington homeplace on the wall, but was found under a bed after being taken down and stored. Kim Lewis Burke (30 KB) This is a cute picture of Kim as a baby. Virginia Williams Meadows, My mother (27 KB) This is a picture of my mother, Virginia Williams Meadows. Sasha Meadows, my new baby! (82 KB) Since Ethel died in December of 2006, I have acquired Sasha. She was one of five puppies dumped at the trash dump near our home. When she was rescued by firemen dumping trash, she had ice hanging in her ears and was nothing but a skeleton. All of her brothers and sisters died. She was the only survivor and is spoiled. How odd! Ethel died in December and Sasha was born the same month. She is now my wonderful baby and is doing fine! Ethel Meadows (127 KB) This was my baby, but only for two years. She died a few days before Christmas in 2006. She had a seizure and stopped breathing. She is greatly missed. This was one of the sweetest dogs I have ever seen and was more like a child than a dog. Jennifer Lynn King, my niece (42 KB) This is Linda Meadows King's daughter. Rosa Mifleton Johnson Meadows (158 KB) This is my father's, Joseph Meadows', paternal grandmother.
