| My many thanks to James Hoover for all the time researching his families history. Through Jim's effort, the 'Meeker' side of the family has been documented to great extent. I also wish to thank Jim for providing me with a copy of his end result, a printed book having a preface dated May 1, 1999. I am also fortunate to have possession of a printed book entitled "The Rosborough Book" authored by Mary Rosborough Bair, my mother's (Doris Jane Rosborough) side of the family. I believe at the time of printing it to be complete, but the date of printing is 1966. Being only available in printed form, it could not be updated easily by future generations of 'Rosboroughs' and their families. I do not know of an electronic version of the book existing. If any member of the 'Rosborough' side of the family knows of an electronic version of "The Rosborough Book" existing, please contact me by e-mail or by phone so that I might be in contact with its author, if still living. At the time of Jim Hoover's research, much of my father's (Harry Burl Meeker) family history was incomplete. It is my intention to update my father's family history roughly from where Jim Hoover left off. I wish to share this information with Jim Hoover so that he might update his family history with the new information I hope to provide in the near future. I also wish to share this information with my many cousins and closest family members on both sides of the 'Meeker' and 'Rosborough' family. I don't know at this time where this endeavor will lead me, It is not my intention to re-invent the work that James Hoover and Mary Rosborough Bair has already researched, but any information that you might wish to share would be appreciated.
