The Family of Martha Meek Skinner Home Page

I am researching the Meek family from Groveton, Texas (formerly from Mississippi). My grandfather, James Harvey Meek, married Emma Clara Josserand and they moved in 1921 to Goose Creek, Texas. They had five children, one of them my father, Jack Louis Meek.
In addition, I am researching the families of Henry Mellor Whitley of Walker County Texas. He is my grandfather and he married Dorothy Stella Holman in Walker County Texas. She moved from Clarendon County, South Carolina with her parents when she was very young.

Any information would be appreciated. I am trying to leave my children a genealogical legacy.
