| Meehan family research focuses on those branches of the family which originated in Leitrim, Sligo, and Armagh in Ireland through the Battle of the Boyne. Any historical information on the area known as BallaghMeighan or Bala Meehan or Bally O'Meighan is also sought. Meehan family of Kilcoran in Tipperary in the South of Ireland from 1690 to the present. Jamart or d'Invilliers family who were members of the Court of Louis XVI in France in the late 1700's and early 1800's. James Ward (b. 1790 in County Donegal) - any information on ancestors is sought. Costigan Family of Offaly (formerly King's County), Ireland - especially the ancestors of Joseph who emigrated to Philadelphia in 1840. Olaf Stille (b. 1610 at Penninsby Manor in Ruslagen, Sweden)- ancestors and related family lines are sought. |
