Notes for Maude Barrett: Maud Barrett Cloyd (Bibby) lived most of her life in the Cochran/Raccoon Bend area of Austin County. As the wife of a farmer, she was always canning vegetables from her garden. She churned butter from the milk that Pappy brought her each day. They had chickens, pigs and cattle. In later years, she and Raymond moved into a house on South Mathews in Bellville. She took care of her mentally retarded brother "Doc" after "Pappy" died. Both Raymond and Maud Cloyd are buried in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Bellville.
