Notes for Rebecca Bell: When Rebecca Bell Cloyd married Hiram Miles Young she was a widow with several children and Miles was a divorcee with four children of his own. Rebecca Bell Cloyd's husband Newitt had been shot to death in Hempstead Austin County (now Waller County) Texas in 1869.
It is presumed that Miles Young was born in the Spartanburg area of South Carolina. Personally, I believe that Nancy Ann Young Reams was kin to him as the Reams family of Buckhorn Texas was closely associated with the Granvilles, Youngs and Bells of Austin County Texas. Also, all these associated with in a very close almost family relationship to the Atkinson family in Bellville.
When Newitt died, Rebecca and her children were living in Waller County. But apparently she moved back to Bellville for awhile.

Perry was buried in the cemetery on Fisher Hill. Rebecca was living in Bellville in 1900. It is possible that she also was buried in the same cemetery as Perry. This cemetery can no longer be located.
