Meisinger/Jaeger & Allied Families

I have finally found the place of origin of John/Johann Meisinger my husband John Meisinger's great grandfather in Roding, Bavaria, Germany with the help of Google, and other posted information and finding the exact birthdate of John/Johann's sister Barbara Meisinger Herman. Reinhard Mayer in Trostberg, Germany and Mariann Sutter in Regensburg, Germany Found place of birth in Roding, Germany for the Meisinger and Schmidbauer families. It is now located in the District of Cham west of the Czech Republic and east of Regensburg. Before Roding the Meisinger Grandparents were from Reichenbach, Bavaria. I will post more information later.
Research on the Meisinger & Jaeger & Allied Families began in the early 1970's. It will be ongoing hopefully for many years to come. It is a little easier now that information is on the internet. My brother Ken Jaeger & I spent many hours in libraries and historical places looking for information.
