Ann Eason (daughter of William Eason) was born 1833 in Prob. Screveton, Nottinghamshire, England, and died July 14, 1903 in Malden, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. She married Charles Cole on August 07, 1859 in Bromyard, Hereford, England, son of John Cole.
Notes for Ann Eason: Ann Eason is placed here on record based on Sarah Ann Relyea's marriage record stating father is Charles Cole and mothe is Ann Eason. From LDS's IGI there is a Ann Eason and Charles Cole that is married in Bromyard, Hereford England's records Aug 7, 1854.
Charles and Ann Cole's daughter are listed as being baptized at Saint Martin, Worcester England on the same date.
Family traditions states that Sarah Ann's father died serving for the Bristish Army in India. (or Calcutta).
Secondly we find that Ann Eason married William Ward Whittle, May 11, 1863, Saint Martin, Worcester Eng.
Shortly after this they must have immigrated to USA. In the 1870's Jersey City, NJ census its shows a William Whittle, Ann (wife), Sarah Ann Cole, Annie Cole, George Whittle. In the 1880's census it shows Ann Whittle (divorced?) along with all children plus Isabella.
In Sarah Ann Relyea's obituary it states that a Mrs John Sulliven of Malden, Ma. is a sister to her.
On Staten Island's rootweb's obscure cemetery records there is a Ann Whittle who is listed place of death as Malden, NY. This may be a error in the records?
Also in our family records is deed to the property which is in bad shape and difficult to read. However it state the deed is in the name of Whittle.
