I am researching two surnames:1. DOLLOFF

The first DOLLOFF recording in the US was a CHRISTIAN DOLLOFF. He lived in DOVER and EXETER, NH in the mid 1600s. If anyone has any information about his origin I would really appreciate hearing from you!

I have traced my own line back to a JOHN DOLLOFF who is supposed to have been born in 1781 in EXETER, NH. He is a descendant of CHRISTIAN DOLLOFF. He married Elizabeth Taylor in Reidville, ME in 1802. They lived in MT. VERNON, ME and raised eleven children. If anyone has information about who this John Dolloff's parents were I would also greatly appreciate hearing from you.

The name MEKELBURG first shows up in the US with ABRAHAM MEKELBURG from AMSTERDAM, HOLLAND in the late 1800s or early 1900s. He had a son MARCEL MEKELBURG who (I think) was born in BOSTON, MA. Any information about these two men and their families would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading my genealogy home page.
