I am researching the ABOUDI-BERKOWITZ-MELMED-REICHBARDT-SCHNEIDER-SHALLER, etc. family. John Melmed brought the Melmeds of Panevezys, Lithuania together after 80 years of being dispursed. The Melmeds had an international reunion in Israel in July of 1985. Cecil Schneider brought the Schneiders of Pusalotas, Panevezys, Lithuania together after 90 years of being apart. It is our hope that more of our family will be reunited as time goes on.
The Aboudis are from Alexandria and Cairo, Egypt.
The Reichbardts are from Lodz, Poland.
The Berkowitz-Shallers are from Lesko, Gorlice, Western Galicia; Wishnitz, Bukovina, and Iasi (Jassy), Rumania.
The Melmed-Schneiders are from Birzai/Pasvalys/Pusalotas/ Panevezys, Lithuania.
We presently live in NY, IL, PA, MD, FL, CO, CA, GA, CT, WI, NJ, TX, USA, Israel, South Africa, Australia, Brazil, as well as just about everywhere else in the world.
