The ship of approximately 465 tons sailed from Liverpool on the 23rd August 1853 and arrived in Portland Bay, Victoria, Australia on the 30th November 1853. While still in the harbour and ready for sail, this ship met with disaster on the 16th December 1853 by fire taking several days to burn. (Email me for details of the burning)
