15. Sarah Gaskins, born February 26, 1846 in Telfair Co., GA; died February 18, 1909 in Coffee Co., GA. She was the daughter of 30. John Gaskins and 31. Frances "Fanny" Lott.

Notes for John Wesley "Mudge" Tanner, Sr.:
In a fight over burning a bit of land, John Wesley Tanner Sr., [father of Mary Tanner Youngblood], killed Elijah Youngblood [father of John Youngblood] on 24 Feb. 1892. He was acquitted of all charges.

John W. Tanner Sr., was killed while riding his horse one day, he was thrown off and his foot got stuck in the stirrups. The horse dragged him for miles, taking him home.

I remember seeing it in a man's house [My g-uncle somehow], his name was Tanner Tanner. Does your Mom remember him? He had a deep voice that my Dad said sounded like a bear..."
