| I am looking for a James Briggs who was born appx. around 1935-1940. He was a baker or a postman and married a woman named Sharon. They had 2 children, myself and my brother Brian Keith Briggs. We were put up for adoption when I was 3½ (in 1968) and Brian was 2. James and Sharon lived in East St. Louis Illinois and I was adopted by a Dale and Jerrie Merwin. I have a history of seizures and possibly finding my father could answer some of the medical questions that need to be answered. I have a sister and brother that I never knew from Sharon Briggs named Mike Briggs and Dawn Briggs. Dawn now lives in Ca. and was married to a man in the military. I don't know much about my family tree but am trying to find out about it. Any information that anyone could share with me will be greatly appreciated, and I will share any info I can get with you... My Mother Sharon lives in Lenzburg Il. and I have met her but she does not know of James' whereabouts. Thank You, James Dale Merwin |
