Gordon is the son of Walter MERO and Eleanor Therma SALTER; Walter is the son of Archie MERO and Amanda BAERTSCH of Kalispell, Montana. Both Archie MERO and Amanda BAERTSCH came from Wisconsin. MERO ancestors came from France via Canada. BAERTSCH ancestors are from Jenaz, Switzerland. Eleanor is the daughter of Samuel Everett SALTER and Florence GORDON of Rainy River, Ontario to Saskatchewan, Canada. They had a photo shop in North Dakota and Samuel Everett SALTER was a Justice of the Peace in Polson, Montana before moving to Spokane, Washington.
I (Marge) am the daughter of Richard NYQUIST and Julia Annetta LOY; Richard is son of John OLSON and Kajsa OLSDOTTER both from Varmland, Sweden; Richard was born in Alexandria, Minnesota area. He also lived in North Dakota and Montana with a brother in Portland, OR and a sister, Ellen (Nyquist) CLARK in Wisconsin. Julia is daughter of Joseph LOY and Julia Savra JACKSON. Joseph LOY was born in Lincoln Co. Missouri as a twin. He lived mostly in Idaho and Oregon. His father - Edwin Riggs LOY; his mother, EllaNora Frances YOUNG. Julia Savra JACKSON was born in Wisconsin, daughter of William Henry Grasby (Harry) JACKSON from England and Mary Elvesta GRIFFITH of Wisconsin. Harry JACKSON lived many years until his death in Hillsborough County, Florida. Julia Annetta LOY was born in Florida and lived in Idaho and Oregon until marrying Richard NYQUIST. After her marriage, she lived primarily in Montana and Washington.
