The Samuel Griffin of Zebulon, NC

I am researching the Samuel "Pap"Family Zebulon,Wake County,North Carolina. Samuel first appears in the 1880 census, but I don't know where he was before that. He married Mary High in Oct 1867 and they had the following children: Patsy Ann, James R., Mary Hillan, Priscilla, Eliza J., Joseph, Agnes Cary, Nancy and Beatrice.

In addition, I'm researching the Cary Merritt family of Wake County, North Carolina He was born in North Carolina on Sep 1847. He married Eliza J GRIFFIN 14 Aug 1894 and they eventually had four children: Aldonia, Frank, Joseph and Bernice Specifically, I'm trying to find out what happened to his son, Frank. He also married Agnes GRIFFIN 2 Jan 1902 and they had seven children: Eula, Bobby, Viola, Stephen, Agnes Cary, William, and Cary. I'm trying to find out what happened to his son, William.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
