William Stanton Hazard (son of John Atwood Hazard and Fanny Elizabeth Tiffany) was born October 12, 1892 in Warwick, RI, and died July 08, 1975 in Warwick, RI. He married Sarah Frances Randall on September 01, 1920, daughter of Martin Smith Randall and Mary Melissa Thornton.

BIO: William S. Hazard was born in Warwick, RI on October 12, 1892.
He attended Warwick schools and graduated from what is now West
Warwick High School. William, better known as Stan because of his
middle name, was in business for himself as a contractor and a
builder beginning in 1914. He enlisted in the Navy during World
War I and served throughout the conflict. Mr. Hazard was honorably
discharged in August 1919. He married Sarah Randall on September
1, 1920. William and Sarah had two children, Ruth and William Jr.
William was elected to the Warwick Town Council in 1930 and pledged
to work for a reduction in the tax rate by enforcing enconomy in
government.
