Merideth Family Home Page

Nutter Merideth emigrated from Delaware to Bureau Co. Illinois in 1835. In 1847 he married Elmina Davis and they had a large family. Nutter's father was Taylor Meredith of Kent co., Del. I have not identified Taylor's parents nor his wives. I do know most of his children. I believe this family is of Welsh origin and they probably came to Del. via Maryland.
