No, I do not believe that Jeremiah Wright Merritt (1812 - 1900) or his father, Thomas Merritt (1787 - 1870) of Chautauqua County, New York, ever visited Saudi Arabia. However, I am very interested in genealogy research concerning descendents of Jeremiah Wright Merritt and his older brother Louis Howell Merritt of Duluth, Minnesota and their siblings, who moved West to Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Washington, Oregon and are now located throughout the U.S.
