James Mereweather and Elizabeth Harvey of East Gwillimbury, York County King township, Ontario had three sons, Henry, James and Thomas. Henry Mereweather (1838-1911) married Sarah Little (1839-1917)and moved to Hull, Quebec to work as Superintendant for the E.B. Company.
Their son George Mereweather (born 1863 born in Bradford, Ontario) married Jennie Angus( born 1864 in Thurso, Quebec). He worked at the Eddy Sulphite Mill, Laurier Street in Hull, Quebec and they lived in the Eddyville sector which was also called Ville d'Argentine. George and Jennie had three sons and one daughter:
Clifford Roe(1886-1952) married Rosa Wright of Hull, Quebec (1890-1960), Lila Alta (1888-1929) married John Winsor of Buckingham, Quebec (1887-1950), George Angus (1893-1972) married Eugenie Whelan of Aylmer (1891-1954) and Lorne Oliver (1896-1963) . The sons also worked at the Eddy Sulphite Mill.

George Angus Mereweather, was born in Hull, Quebec February 25, 1893, married to Eugenie Whelan of Aylmer, Quebec and had two children. A son George born in Aylmer, Quebec July 21, 1917 (married to Marie-Thérèse Desormeaux born in Ottawa, Ontario December 28, 1921) and a daughter Jeanne (married to Hector Monette).
Angus worked as a machinist for the E.B. Eddy Company for over 50 years.
