I am currently searching for information of Peter and Anna Marie Colman Mertens (Mertensjohann)arriving in the New Orleans, LA United States in 1846. Traveling to Houghton, Marion Township, IA Via Manchester, MO. They left with their two sons, Conrad and Christian from Breman, Prussia, Germany. Any leads to where in Prussia they originated would be greatly appreciated.

Also searching for additional records of Nicolaus "Nils" Ahlstrand born 18 May 1785 in Bjorko, Sweden and his wife Maja Stina Bjorkland also born in Bjorko, Sweden.
