The First Annual Meyer/Myers Family Reunion for the descendants of the late Sarah Elizabeth (Nanny) Myers and Frank Joseph (Popeye) Meyer, is being held Saturday, July 17, 1999. Contact Tom Mercer, by email, for further details.

We are presently researching the DOOLEY/TRACEY family of Ohio. Mary Tracey was born in Ireland in 1805 and came to this country around the age of 21 where she married a James Dooley. Have not been able to find any information on James. They had a daughter, Catherine, who was born in 1851, married a John Myers, and died in 1912. Surnames that are included are: Alfieri, Horgan, Holland, Dooley, Tracey, Myers, Meyer, Curren, Boehl, Bolser, Alexander and Kahsar.

In addition, we are researching the MERCER family of Muskingum County, Ohio. My great grandfather, William Andrew Mercer was born there in 1869 and married my great grandmother, Elizabeth Anna Orr, who also was born there in 1867. They had four sons: Orville A., Robert S., Edward C. and Edmond L. I am searching their ancestors who we believe came from Bucks, Pennsylvania.
