Hans Martin Hag my 7th great grandfather was born in 1651 in Auerbach, Durlach, Baden, Germany. He married Catharina Sauerman, the daughter of Andreas Sauerman and Margaretha. They had three children; Anna Maria, Hans Martin and Jacob Hag. This family tree decends from the youngest son, Jacob born Abt. 1689 and his wife Anna Maria.
Members of the Haag family began immigrating to the United States in the 1820's. They settled for a short while in Pennsylvania. They later moved to Marion County, Ohio where they remained until the mid 1850's. From there some members of the family resettled in Marshall County, Indiana and Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. I decend from the family that settled in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin.
