| Background:Wilhelm Meyer (Willem) came to South Africa from Luneberg, Essen, Germany during the late 1600 and married a Catharine Kiens a widow Van Antwerpen. Who was his ancestors? Current: 1. Leopoldt Ferreira from Portugal - Who was he? 2. Agustha Maria Lucia Gertrude Schäfer from Riesa Groba, nearby Liebzig Germany came to Namibia (Southwest Africa) in the early 1900. Her father owned some land near the Elbe river and the buildings are currently standing empty. Her father was killed during WWII by the Russians with his own revolver due to his great adminration and support to Nazi Germany when they took over Riesa Groba.
