Please look at the Book, it contains most of the information at present on the paternal branches of my tree, as well as some other families who were frequently marrying into the families I have researched. Most of the Barnes geneaology provided by Leahmanda Barnes, and the Adams family geneaology provided by Loren Adams from his book "Reflections on Generations."

    My grandparents in about 1988. For the first time, Pop had a tan, he had always worked in a machine shop before he retired. Pop changed his name in 1950, taking a friends first name, and the company where he worked for the last. He spelled it wrong, however, thus we can trace our relatives easily.

    My high school graduation, and my proud grandfather! As a little girl I wanted an indian name. Pop's solution was to call me what he called my mother "sugarfoot." I spent a lot of time with my grandparents, and Pop filled me with pride for our indian heritage.

    According to Pop, his indian name was "Little Wild Eagle" as a child. With him are Benjamin Richard Mieirs, Anna Mieirs, and Joy Elizabeth Mieirs.

    Taken in 1992, shortly before his death. Robert was the son of Raymond Mieirs (born Claudus Hager) and Dolores Hinds Mieirs. He was a quadraplegic for the last 12 years of his life.
