Notes for EDWARD JAMES LAGINESS: Edward James Laginess was Uncle Jim to us and he spelt his name with the i in Lagness. The brothers all spelt their names different but all were related. The spelling of Lagness was how our Grandfather spelled his name. Uncle Jim and Aunt Fannie had 10 children of their own one child of the 10 was stillborn. |

Notes for FRANCES (AUNT FANNIE): Aunt Fannie was married before and had children her one son is Gordon Vance, his wife is buried in AuGres with Uncle Jim and Aunt Fannie her name was Dorothy she died in 1996. Gordon was born in 1911. Aunt Fannie had 5 children from her 1st marriage. They moved to Texas and Her Husband and 3 children died from Black Plague and were buried in there back yard in Texas. She came back to Michigan and that is when she Married Edward James Laginess. We called him Uncle Jim. They lived in Monroe for a long time and then they moved to AuGres. |
