Please look at my ancestor tree to see if there are any names of interest to you. On my father's side, I am researching primarily Thomas MILLS and Robert CARNAHAN, but I am interested in all the names in my ancestor tree. The names include AMON/AMOS, GARTRELL/GATTRELL, BEALL, DOWNING, HIBBITS/HIBBETS, VAN BUSKIRK, SHERROD and WYNN, but there are many more. My mother's family is BURNS/BYRNES, TIELTJES/TILDES, TILTJIES, MUELLER and NICKELS/NICHOLS. The locales include Ohio, which is where everyone eventually ended up, and Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, New York and New Jersey. My mother's family came later, but also went to Ohio. Their roots are in Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands especially Gelderland. Please feel free to contact me if you have any comments or questions. |
