Notes for Jackie Lee Allison: Jack L. Allison NEW FREEDOM - Jack L. Allison, 43, of New Freedom, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the home of his mother-in-law. He was the husband of Beth Ann (Thompson) Allison. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Hanover St., Glen Rock. There will be no public viewing nor visitation. The J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary Inc., 24 Second St., Glen Rock, is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Allison was born Feb. 18, 1958, in York. He was the son of the late Eugene R. and Gladys E. (Gladfelter) Allison. He was the owner and operator of Allison Plumbing and Heating in New Freedom; prior to that, he worked at the former Mowery Plumbing in Glen Rock. He was a 1976 graduate of Susquehannock High School and an active baseball coach in Southern York County Youth Athletics. Mr. Allison also is survived by two sons, Logan K. Allison and Tait R. Allison, both at home; and a brother, Jerry L. Allison of Dallastown. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Jacqueline Starz of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Glen Rock. |
